Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the sports venue catalog and reservation platform located at riverflow-sportt.com (the "Website"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are strictly prohibited from using our services.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User", "Captain", or "Owner") and RiverFlowSport, operated by Maxwell Carter, Orion House, FIVE, Upper St Martin's Ln, London WC2H 9EA. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice, and your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Service

RiverFlowSport provides an interactive online portal that enables amateur teams across Canada to search, compare, and reserve sports facilities (such as football domes, basketball gyms, tennis courts, volleyball complexes, and padel structures) listed by independent private operators and municipal bodies.

Please note that RiverFlowSport acts strictly as a marketplace intermediary. We do not own, manage, maintain, or control any of the physical sports facilities listed inside our catalog. We are not responsible for the physical condition, safety compliance, or operational standards of the venues.

3. User Account Eligibility

To access certain dashboard controls (such as the Team Captain roster scheduler or the Owner facility listing portal), you are required to register an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to form a binding contract under Canadian law.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and passwords. You agree to accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your registered profile.

4. Venue Booking Terms

Reservations made through the Website are subject to the following standard parameters:

  • Booking Confirmation: A reservation is considered legally confirmed only upon receipt of our official transactional email containing a unique booking reference code (e.g., RFS-XXXX).
  • Payment Deposit: Users are required to pay a 30% upfront security deposit using our integrated Visa, Mastercard, or PayPal payment mechanisms.
  • Cancellation Policy: A 100% full refund on deposits is processed for cancellations submitted at least 48 hours before the confirmed slot. Cancellations submitted between 24 and 48 hours receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made under 24 hours forfeit their deposit.
  • No-Shows: If a team fails to arrive at the venue for their confirmed slot, the reservation is treated as a no-show, and all deposits are forfeited.

5. Venue Owner Obligations

Operators who list facilities on our catalog represent and warrant that all submitted details, dimensions, turf surfaces, amenities, and unedited photos are completely accurate. Owners must maintain their facility to the described standard and honor all confirmed reservations.

RiverFlowSport charges a flat 8% platform fee per completed booking, which is deducted from the payout processed to the owner within 48 hours of the reservation's completion. Owners are responsible for setting their own hourly rates and slot parameters.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from using the platform for any unlawful purpose. You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading personal, team, or venue details.
  • Attempt to circumvent the platform by contacting and booking directly with venues discovered through RiverFlowSport.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract data from the Website using automated tools.
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or spam through our booking or chat systems.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, RiverFlowSport, its founder Maxwell Carter, and its representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your attendance at any listed sports venue. This includes sports injuries, property theft, property damage, disputes between players, or cancellations by operators.
